Unpitch Tech 2019: Better Than Ever!

--

Another landmark Boston event in the books.

This afternoon, January 17th, scores of Boston’s brightest investors and up-and-coming entrepreneurs gathered at Facebook’s Cambridge offices for an afternoon of conversation, feedback, and burritos.

We have to thank AWS for powering such an awesome event, and Facebook for sharing their brand new Cambridge event space with us!

The 58 founders in the room were selected by a committee of investors after reviewing over 200 applications from early stage founders across the globe.

Unpitch Tech opened with mingling and a burrito buffet at Facebook’s sleek office. As the investors and founders poured in, the NEVCA’s own Ari Glantz opened the event with a welcoming address.

We offer this event year after year because we believe in the value of real, meaningful conversations between investors and entrepreneurs — without the constraints and pressure of pitch decks or monetary asks. But enough from us! Get the scoop on Unpitch Tech straight from the floor:

We were thrilled to hear how valuable Unpitch Tech was for participating founders, but we’ll let a couple of them tell you directly:

Of course, none of this would be possible without all 29 of our awesome investors who gave their time and expertise to join us:

Shoutout to all of the VC firms represented, and thank you to the investors for bringing your A-game to support so many rising startups!

Love Unpitch Tech as much as we do? Stay tuned, 2019 is bringing the inaugural Unpitch BIO — the first-of-its-kind event for Life Sciences investors and entrepreneurs! And if you enjoyed this article, please be sure to clap below.
