The NEVCA’s First Unpitch BIO

--

The investors - hailing from fifteen different firms - at the first-ever Unpitch BIO

After seven years of hosting Unpitch, one of the NEVCA’s signature events that brings together investors and entrepreneurs, we presented Unpitch BIO to rave reviews! Using the same model of casual, productive conversations without the stress of monetary asks, Unpitch BIO caters exclusively to founders and researchers with big ideas in the Life Sciences.

By matching the ideas to experienced investors in those domains, the entrepreneurs were able to receive feedback and guidance on how to take the next step for their companies. We’re very grateful to have had AWS power yet another successful Unpitch event, and to the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT for hosting us in their space.

After hearing from the NEVCA’s Mary Tobin and Ari Glantz, the investors and entrepreneurs had some time to network and mingle before the afternoon was broken into one-on-one sessions, where entrepreneurs were able to delve deeper into their science and business model with investors in a more personal setting.

Check out some of the highlights from the day:

Thank you to everyone who made Unpitch BIO 2019 a success - we can’t wait for next year!

Love Unpitch as much as we do? We’re just as excited about the first ever Unpitch Health later this month! And if you enjoyed this article, please be sure to clap below.
