Announcing the Nominees at the 5th Annual NEVY Awards

BOSTON, Mass — April 4, 2017 — Today, we’re excited to announce the nominees at the 5th Annual NEVY Awards, presented by General Electric (GE), taking place on May 17 at Boston’s House of Blues. The event will recognize the most prominent and promising individuals and organizations from New England’s innovation economy in a night of masquerade — in the innovation-inspiring, melting-pot spirit of Mardi Gras.

The NEVY Awards honor many across the Tech and Life Sciences venture spectrum — from early and late stage companies, to the founders and funders behind them — and provide a look into the thriving innovation economy that exists in Boston, and the larger New England region. This year’s awards feature mainstays like Entrepreneur of the Year and Hottest Early Stage Tech Startup, the return of categories added last year like Next Pillar Tech Company and Digital Health Company of the Year, plus the addition of Cleantech Company of the Year, Hottest Early Stage Healthcare Startup — Tools and Technology, and the first ever Impact Awards, bestowed on individuals for long-term, large-scale contributions to the broader innovation ecosystem.
