Last night at a packed House of Blues in Boston, the New England Venture Capital Association (NEVCA) celebrated the winners of its sixth annual NEVY Awards (“The NEVYs”). The Jedi-inspired program, “Episode VI: Return of the NEVYs,” was presented this year by Bristol-Myers Squibb, and recognized the top innovators, investors, and companies in the region.

As New England’s premier awards program, and the only one to truly unite the technology, healthcare, and life science communities, the NEVYs honor the best and brightest in the region’s venture ecosystem. This year’s 12 award categories recognize local companies and their investors, with final winners selected by the NEVY’s Technology and Healthcare & Life Sciences Academies.

“The NEVYs never disappoint! We were thrilled with the turn-out for this year’s celebration and the recognition of our region’s incredible innovation ecosystem,” commented NEVCA President Jody Rose. “New England has shown itself to be a strong ‘force’ in the national startup and venture scene, across tech, healthcare, and life sciences. There is no better place to build a cutting-edge business.”
